Abdali - Gurian Grandpa

I went in Georgia last year for the first Time, thanks to Niko Movement festival. At this moment I was shy to use Georgian folklore for my wall, because it was a country that I didn't really know. I wanted to be cloth from the country before giving an interpretation of it.

Then, during my first edition of Niko I discovered an amazing culture, History, and I get New true Friends. So, for my second coming in Georgia, at Ozurgeti, I had the feeling that I was a little bit Georgian, That's why I allowed myself to use Georgian folklore, and make a tribute to this country that I love and Friends that I met there. So I decided to represent a man with typical gurian suit and hat, with my style and colors that I use to make. This is my way of interpretation of Georgia.
