This site would not have been possible without the support of many fellow collectors. The first compilations of large-scale murals, the tireless documenting and posting of graffiti and other illegal artworks, and Koska's films The Toastmasters were a major source of inspiration. The publication Tbilisi on Comment by Mikheil Sulakauri, and the generous permission of numerous artists and photographers to use their images for this project have also been essential. My heartfelt thanks go to all of them.
Photographing street art is a highly underrated art form in itself. During my research, I came across hundreds of websites and collections, and I truly appreciate a well-taken photograph that is satisfying to look at - not just a quick snapshot meant only to provide information, without quality or care. Through a carefully composed photograph, the artwork has the opportunity to stand out much more.
This archive is a work in progress. I kindly ask everyone to review the information on date, location and description of the artworks and I welcome any additions - about the piece itself, its creation, the circumstances in which it was made, its message, and of course its current condition. Works that have heavily faded or have been painted over will be marked accordingly.
Knowledge is the only good that increases when it is shared.

Diese Seite wäre ohne die Unterstützung zahlreicher anderer Sammlerinnen und Sammler nicht möglich gewesen. Die ersten Zusammenstellungen großformatiger Murals, das unermüdliche Dokumentieren und Posten von Graffiti und anderen illegalen Arbeiten sowie die Filme von Koska The Toastmasters waren eine wichtige Inspiration. Ebenso motivierend war die Publikation von Mikheil Sulakauri Tbilisi on Comment sowie die großzügige Erlaubnis vieler Künstlerinnen, Künstler und Fotograf*innen, ihre Bilder für dieses Projekt zu verwenden. Dafür danke ich von ganzem Herzen.
Gleichzeitig ist dieses Archiv ein "Work in Progress". Ich bitte alle Besucherinnen und Besucher, die Angaben zu Zeit, Ort und Beschreibung der Artworks zu prüfen und freue mich über jede Ergänzung - zum Werk selbst, zu seiner Entstehungsgeschichte, zu den Umständen, zur inhaltlichen Botschaft oder auch zu seinem aktuellen Zustand. Stark verblasste oder übermalte Arbeiten werden entsprechend gekennzeichnet.
