Sir
"Sir" is a graffiti character from the street art collective Ockolki. It is a mostly black face in profile, looking to the left.
It’s such a pleasure to see familiar crews or characters when you find yourself in another city or even another country. And it feels especially warm to spot the hometown St. Petersburg crews who don’t just paint walls - they pull off incredible performances and bomb huge pieces using rollers. Meet this black character - his name is "Sir".
He has the ability to mimic, sometimes splitting himself and weaving into the threads of the city. Together with the crew Ockolki, he sneaks onto rooftops and attics, into psychiatric-neurological clinics, and even into bomb shelters. His motto? "Life is a stroll with spray cans, and Ockolki are graffiti parasites - like fungi, inseparable from the city."
